Pop star Miley Cyrus is going to marry to her boyfriend of four years, musician Maxx Morando.
News of the engagement by multiple sources, comes after the couple were in a rare public appearance where Miley Cyrus was wearing a diamond ring on that finger.
Morando's father initially sparked the rumors when he posted a series of photos from Miley’s 33rd birthday.
In one of the pictures, a large ring was visible on her hand. The caption on the post appeared to congratulate the pair, using emojis of a champagne bottle and a ring.
The couple quickly followed up on the speculation by attending the world premiere of the movie Avatar: Fire and Ash in Hollywood.
Miley Cyrus wore a stunning black sequined gown and made no effort to hide the large, cushion-cut diamond ring as she posed next to her fiancé.
The ring is a cushion cut stone on a chunky 14-karat yellow gold band, a piece by jeweler Jacquie Aiche.
Miley, 33, and Maxx, 27, first connected through a blind date in 2021, although Miley later joked that the date was only "blind" for her. They began their romance shortly after and were holding hands at a Gucci event later that year.
Maxx, a drummer and music producer, has also collaborated professionally with the "Flowers" singer.
He played drums on two tracks from her 2023 album, Endless Summer Vacation, and produced and co-wrote songs on her latest project.
When Miley Cyrus won Record of the Year for "Flowers" at the 2024 Grammys, she publicly referred to Maxx as "my love" during her acceptance speech.
Despite the excitement, the pair are keeping their relationship out of the public eye, only making occasional joint appearances.
