Newly released Ring camera footage shows the moment police arrested former Disney actor Matt Prokop at his home in Texas on Christmas Eve.
In the video, Matt appears highly confrontational when officers first arrive at his doorstep.
He uses aggressive language, asking the police "what the f***" they want and telling them to "start talking." The situation changed once officers placed him in handcuffs.
At that point, Matt began pleading with the officers and neighbors to take care of his dog.
The police visited the home after a woman named Lucy called to report that Matt had been violent toward her.
When officers asked about the woman, Matt snarkily replied that Lucy was the name of his dog, who can be heard barking throughout the video.
The footage captures the actor being led away from his residence while he continues to yell instructions about the welfare of his pet.
It remains unclear what happened to the woman who made the initial report or the dog following the arrest.
This latest arrest adds to a series of severe legal issues for the former actor. Authorities charged Matt with evading and resisting arrest, along with a violation of bond conditions.
Most significantly, he faces a charge of possession of child pornography. These developments follow a 2024 arrest for allegedly abusing his girlfriend.
Matt also made headlines years ago when his former partner, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, accused him of physical and verbal abuse during their relationship.
Matt Prokop rose to fame in the late 2000s with roles in High School Musical 3: Senior Year and Geek Charming.
However, his acting career largely stalled following the public abuse allegations from Hyland in 2014.
These new charges and the aggressive behavior shown in the arrest video have drawn significant attention to his ongoing legal battles.
He currently remains involved in the court system as prosecutors move forward with the various cases against him.
