Police arrested a 35-year-old woman after she fired several shots at the Beverly Hills mansion of Rihanna on Sunday afternoon.
The suspect, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, used a rifle to target the property while the singer stayed inside.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that Rihanna, her partner A$AP Rocky, and their three children escaped the incident without any injuries.
The gunfire began around 1:20 p.m. and hit the outer gate and a wall of the home.
Police found Ortiz about 30 minutes later in a white Tesla at a nearby shopping center.
They charged her with attempted murder and set her bail at more than 10 million dollars.
Investigators discovered a strange social media post from the suspect that mentioned the singer shortly before the shooting.
After the scary event, Rihanna and her family chose to leave the house. Cameras caught several large moving trucks leaving the estate on Monday.
Sources say the singer feels unsafe at the home and wants to stay in a more secure location for now.
This incident is the newest security problem at her Los Angeles properties over the last few years.
Rihanna still focuses on her children and her many businesses despite the recent trouble.
She gave birth to her third child in late 2025 and has kept a low profile since then. Fans around the world sent many kind messages to support the star after they heard the news of the attack.
