Are you a fan of 'The Lord of the Rings' universe? or an anime fan? in case you're both 'The War of the Rohirrim' is just what you've been waiting for. A brand new film in the universe so many people know and love by Japanase animator and director Kenji Kamiyama.
The project has been in development since 2021 with Warner Bros. Animation and this December 13, 2024, the movie is finally seeing the light in theaters across the United States. There's still no set date for the movie release worlwide, so we're guessing it's gonna be depending on the success and numbers they see from the local box office.
Brian Cox and Gaia Wise are playing the king of Rohan and his daugther, the center pieces of this prequel set 183 years before what we see in the movies we all know and love by Peter Jackson.
'The War of the Rohirrim' the new installment in the Tolkien cinematic universe was originally coming out on April 12, before ending up with the final December release because of the SAG-AFTRA strike. And after just a few trailers and clips, the project is more than ready to see the light.
Every aspect of it, so far, at least in the edited clips we've seen, looks stunning and breathtaking, with great attention to detail both in the main characters and the backgrounds, capturing the essence of this fantasy universe down to a T.
