Halsey has been around for quite some years now, relevant between the younger public ever since her first hit song 'Colors', and after a few incursions in acting like Americana (2023) and MaXXXine (2024), she is now working on a TV show.
For what we know now, according to Variety, 'Bloodlust' it's gonna be a dark comedy, with 'X' trilogy director Ti West, the second collaboration between them after 'MaXXXine' where Halsey had a small role as one of Maxine's friends.
There aren't much details about the plot or the cast, we don't even know is Halsey is gonna be starring (since she has some experience with acting), even though the project has been in development for a little while at Amazon Studios, meaning it's gonna be a Prime Video show when it comes out.
The artist already has her own film 'If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power', technically a visual album, where she's appears as the writer, but 'Bloodlust' would be her first time writing for Television. With the name of the show, speculations are that we might be getting a vampire comedy, since lately the topic seems to be more relevant than ever.
With executive producers Ti West, Halsey and her management and Mark Friedman (Severance) being in the developing team, expectations are high about the quality of the show. Let's wait for more details, and hope it's a bloody fun time.
